AAHA Accredited
Bradfordville Animal Hospital is accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association. Click here to learn why achieving this honor means so much to the health and wellness of your pet.
What does this certification mean? To become accredited, our hospital must practice in accordance with AAHA's standards of excellence. An AAHA practice consultant periodically visits our hospital to ensure that we meet or exceed these standards. The Standards developed and published by AAHA are widely accepted as representing those components of veterinary practice that represent high quality care. The Standards are periodically reviewed and updated to ensure that they remain consistent with evolving knowledge and technology. Accreditation helps veterinary hospitals stay on the leading edge of veterinary medicine and provide the quality and range of services you and your pet deserve.
There are more than 900 individual standards, including dealing with contagious disease and patient care. The standards cover the following areas:
- Medical records
- Examination facilities
- Pharmacy
- Laboratory
- Diagnostic Imaging
- Anesthesiology
- Surgery
- Dentistry
- Nursing Care
- Continuing Education
- Housekeeping and Maintenance
- Emergency Services
We are proud to have passed the rigorous requirements necessary to become an AAHA accredited veterinary practice in 2009!
